PostSam writes, schedules and publishes social media content automatically across connected accounts.
Where PostSam fits
Most social media management tools are built for people whose job is social media. PostSam is built for people whose job is everything else. It inverts the usual model: instead of giving you a composer, a queue and an analytics tab and leaving the writing to you, it hands you an agent — "Sam" — that drafts the content, fills a calendar and either publishes on autopilot or waits for a one-click approval. The target buyer is obvious from every page of the site: solo founders, creators and lean teams who know they should post consistently on X, LinkedIn, Threads and Facebook and never do.
That positioning matters when judging it, because PostSam will lose most feature shootouts with Buffer, Hootsuite or Sprout Social and still be the right purchase for its buyer. What I look for in this category is whether the automation actually removes the work, whether the output is editable before it embarrasses you, and whether the price is defensible against simply hiring a freelancer for two hours a month. On those three questions PostSam has real answers — with one significant platform gap I will come back to.
What it actually does
Setup is a short conversation. You describe your business and audience, connect accounts, and Sam produces campaign posts in a claimed brand voice plus a ready content calendar. The publishing loop covers four networks: X, Threads, LinkedIn and Facebook. Every generated post can be edited, approved individually, or left to run end to end; the dashboard shows all channels together so approval does not involve tab-hopping between native apps. There are lightweight rewrite controls on each draft — shorter, more engaging, full rewrite — which in my view is the most useful control in the whole interface, because the first AI draft is rarely the one I would publish.
Pricing is a three-tier structure. Free ($0) includes core AI generation, limited scheduling, one campaign and one account per platform with basic analytics. Pro is listed at $15.99 per month at time of writing, billed as an annual commitment (the vendor's own pricing page labels it "Annual") — that is roughly $192 upfront, and there is no month-to-month option published. Pro removes the caps: unlimited scheduling, unlimited connected accounts, advanced AI generation, end-to-end automation, multiple campaigns and team collaboration. Enterprise is custom-priced and adds custom integrations, advanced analytics and a dedicated manager. No credit card is required to start, which the vendor makes a point of in its comparison blog against competitors whose trials auto-renew.
The vendor's success-stories page reports average results across customers — 340% follower growth, 280% engagement increase, 15 hours saved per week and $45K revenue growth. I treat every one of those as a vendor claim, not evidence; there is no methodology, sample size or timeframe published behind them.
My testing notes
First observation: the pricing is simpler than most of the category but the billing shape is the fine print that matters. When I worked through the pricing page, the only paid self-serve option is Pro at $15.99/month on an annual toggle. Multiply it out and the year costs about $192 — cheap against a Buffer plan that scales per channel and very cheap against Sprout Social's roughly $249/month, but it is a lump sum for a product whose free tier is genuinely usable for evaluation. Some directory listings still show Pro at $19.99/month; those look like an older price, and the vendor page is the number I would trust at time of writing.
Second observation: the approval model is the right design for a trust-sensitive buyer. In my walkthrough of the flow, Sam generates a campaign, slots posts into a dated calendar and presents each draft with approve, edit and rewrite actions before anything goes out. The demo post on the homepage — an emoji-heavy feature announcement — is honestly not copy I would ship as-is for a B2B audience; the tone leaned generic marketing. The rewrite controls fixed most of that in one click, but it underlines the reality of this product: you are editing AI drafts, not receiving finished work. That is still far less work than writing from scratch, and the autopilot mode is there once you trust the voice settings.
Third observation: the platform ceiling is hard. PostSam covers X, Threads, LinkedIn and Facebook — four networks, all text-first or mixed. There is no Instagram, no TikTok, no YouTube, no Pinterest. If your audience lives on visual platforms, the tool cannot reach them, and no amount of automation quality fixes that. For the founder-audience PostSam targets, the four it picked are arguably the correct four; but "social media management" in the buyer's head usually means at least Instagram, so expect disappointment if that was the plan.
Fourth observation: independent validation is thin. The site carries named testimonials and a bold numbers page, but when I looked for third-party reviews — G2, Capterra, Slashdot, community threads — I found almost nothing; Slashdot's listing shows zero user reviews. For a tool that publishes autonomously on your behalf, a real review footprint is a reliability signal I weight heavily, and PostSam does not have one yet.
The competitive frame is worth setting explicitly, because the alternative to PostSam is rarely another AI writer — it is either doing nothing or paying a freelancer. Against Buffer and Hootsuite, PostSam's bet is that generation plus scheduling in one agent is worth more than a polished scheduler with a separate AI assistant bolted on. Against a freelancer at even $50 a month for two hours of work, PostSam is cheaper and always available, but a human writer will understand your in-jokes, your customers and your product launches in a way a brand-voice prompt does not. In my testing of AI-generated social content generally, the tools win on consistency and lose on specificity; the posts that perform are the ones with a real observation in them, and that part still needs you.
Limits
PostSam does not do social listening, mention monitoring, competitor tracking or sentiment analysis — it is a content engine, not a monitoring suite. There is no ad management and no link-in-bio or landing tooling. Analytics on the free tier are basic, and "advanced analytics" sits in the Enterprise tier, so a growing team on Pro that wants serious reporting has to jump to a custom contract. There is no published API and no integration marketplace, so fitting PostSam into a wider marketing stack means exporting or copy-pasting. Team collaboration is Pro-only, and there is no approval workflow granularity — no roles, no per-seat permissions I could verify. Finally, the company behind it is young (its own timeline places first AI models in 2024 and beta in 2025) and the entity appears to be Vouxly ApS per software directories; a publisher acting on your accounts is a standing delegation of your brand voice, and that delegation sits on a startup's uptime and API access.
One more practical note on the free tier. "Schedule with limits" and "one campaign" is enough to run a real two-week experiment: connect one account, let Sam fill a calendar, and judge the drafts honestly before paying. That is the evaluation path I recommend here, and it is exactly the kind of trial the category's more aggressive vendors skip in favor of credit-card-gated demos.
Verdict
PostSam is a focused automation win for a narrow buyer: if your social strategy lives on X, Threads, LinkedIn and Facebook and you want to spend under an hour a week on it, the $15.99/month annual Pro plan buys back real time and the per-post approval flow keeps you in control. If Instagram or TikTok is in your plan, it is simply the wrong tool. I rate it 3.2: reasonable core depth for its four supported channels and genuinely good self-serve value, straightforward usability, but a thin support and ecosystem layer and reliability signals that rest almost entirely on vendor-published claims rather than independent evidence.

Pros
- Per-post approval with edit and rewrite controls before publishing — automation that keeps the human in charge of brand voice
- Pro at $15.99/month billed annually undercuts Buffer channel pricing and is a fraction of Sprout Social's entry cost
- Free tier genuinely usable for evaluation: core AI, one campaign and limited scheduling, with no credit card required
- End-to-end flow from business description to filled calendar removes the blank-page problem completely
- One dashboard covers all four connected networks, so approval does not mean four native apps
Cons
- No Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest support — four text-first networks only
- Pro is annual-only at about $192 upfront; there is no month-to-month option published
- Advanced analytics locked in the Enterprise tier, leaving Pro users with basic reporting
- Nearly zero independent review footprint — success numbers are vendor-reported with no methodology
- Generated drafts skewed generic marketing in my walkthrough and needed editing before they were publishable
