Integrates with

Hostinger Reach is an email marketing tool for building, sending and tracking campaigns, with AI help writing them.

Where Hostinger Reach sits

Hostinger Reach is the email marketing product Hostinger launched in June 2025, aimed squarely at the person who already has a Hostinger domain or website and has never sent a campaign before. It is not trying to be Klaviyo or Mailchimp. Its pitch is narrower and more honest: describe the email you want, get a complete branded draft in seconds, send it to a small list, and see whether anyone opened it. In my testing, that is exactly what it does — and the interesting question is not whether the AI writes emails (it does, competently) but whether the surrounding machinery of sending, counting and automating is mature enough to trust with a real list.

The strategic context matters. Reach is the second AI product Hostinger shipped in 2025 after its AI Builder, and it is deliberately welded to the rest of the Hostinger stack: domains, business mailboxes, the website builder, WordPress hosting. That integration is the actual product. Standalone, Reach is a young, fairly basic email service provider. Inside a Hostinger account, it removes about six setup steps that normally stop beginners from ever sending a newsletter.

What it actually does

Reach covers the email lifecycle at small scale. You connect a sending domain (one click for Hostinger-managed domains, manual SPF/DKIM/DMARC records otherwise — Hostinger states these are configured automatically on its own domains), load contacts, generate a campaign, send it, and read an engagement report.

The AI layer is the headline. You describe a campaign in one prompt — goal, offer, links, images, tone — and Reach proposes a campaign plan, then on confirmation generates the full email: copy, layout and brand styling pulled from saved brand details (name, logo, colors). The AI also suggests weekly campaign ideas, writes subject lines, and on higher tiers picks send times. A spam checker with AI-assisted fixes sits on paid plans. In TechRadar's hands-on, the whole generate-a-campaign flow consumed exactly one AI credit, which I confirmed — the credit meter moved once per completed generation, not once per edit or regenerate.

Contacts arrive via manual entry, CSV import, an embeddable signup form builder, an open API, or one-click sync from Hostinger's Website Builder and WordPress. The WordPress plugin works on sites hosted elsewhere and collects from WPForms Lite, Contact Form 7 and Elementor. Double opt-in is available for supported signup sources, though not for CSV imports or manual adds. Unsubscribe links and business identity blocks are injected by default for CAN-SPAM and GDPR.

Plans are metered on three things: unique recipients per calendar month, emails per month, and AI credits. At time of writing (hostinger.com/pricing/email-marketing, October 2026), the Starter tier is free for one year and includes 100 unique recipients, 200 emails per month and 20 one-time AI credits, renewing at $1.49/month afterwards. Grow is $1.74/month on the current 12-month promotion ($20.92 for the year, renews at $2.49) with 500 recipients, 3,500 emails and 10 AI credits per month. Pro is $2.79/month on promotion ($33.52 for the year, renews at $3.99) with 1,000 recipients, 7,000 emails and 20 AI credits. Larger tiers scale to Reach 50000: 50,000 unique recipients, 350,000 emails per month, 30 AI credits (per Hostinger's subscription-details support page). Promotional pricing is aggressive and time-bound; the renewal numbers are the ones to budget on.

The tier gates are meaningful. Scheduling, personalization, automations and removing the "Powered by Hostinger Reach" signature start at Grow. Pro adds HTML/code editing, send-time optimization, custom contact fields, teammate access and — notably — WhatsApp marketing campaigns. Automation means welcome emails, drip sequences with configurable delays, and on paid plans WooCommerce abandoned-cart and post-purchase flows. This is trigger-and-delay automation, not a visual journey builder with branching logic.

My testing notes

Three concrete observations.

First, the generation flow is real and predictable. I gave it a concrete brief — an offer, a closing date, a product link, a tone — and got a plan plus a finished draft in one credit. The layout suggestions are sensible: mobile-first single-column designs with a clear hero and CTA. The important detail TechRadar flagged and I agree with: the drafts are good enough to send after editing, not before. When I let a wrong price stand in the prompt, the AI confidently built a whole email around it. The editor saves this — text, images, links and design settings are all editable directly, and on Pro you can drop into HTML — so the sane workflow is generate, then fix facts by hand.

Second, the metering has a trap that most beginners will hit. "Recipients" counts distinct addresses emailed within a calendar month, not list size, and the counter resets on the first of the month. Two newsletters to the same 100 people exhaust the entire free plan's 200-email allowance; four newsletters to those same people need 400. AI credits are a separate meter and are shared across Hostinger's AI products (AI Builder, Hostinger Agent), which I did not expect — heavy use of the website builder's AI can apparently eat the same balance. The free plan's monthly AI credit allotment is zero after the one-time 20-credit welcome gift, so the free tier is effectively a trial of the sending machinery, not of the AI.

Third, small craft details show real thought. Merge fields have fallback text — Hostinger's own tutorial uses "coffee lover" as the fallback greeting when a first name is missing, so a partially-populated list still reads naturally. The preheader is settable rather than defaulting to the first line of body copy. And Reach's default no-reply sending address works without paying for a mailbox, though if you want to receive replies you need a real mailbox, from Hostinger or elsewhere. These are the details that separate a tool built by people who have actually sent newsletters from a feature checklist.

What it does not do

Reach is young and the gaps show. There is no A/B testing documented anywhere in the product materials or the reviews I read. Reporting stops at opens, clicks and basic engagement per campaign — no revenue attribution, no click maps, no comparative cohort analysis. Automation has no branching, no goal tracking, no conditional splits: it is linear sequences with delays. Segmentation exists (and AI-powered segments are unlimited on paid plans) but there is no predictive segmentation or complex behavioral filtering of the kind Klaviyo users take for granted. There is no dedicated landing page builder; forms are embeddable and can live on a one-page Hostinger site, which is a workaround rather than a feature. Ecommerce support is effectively WooCommerce and Hostinger's own builder — Shopify, Magento and custom store stacks are outside the integration list. Deliverability tooling is setup-level (DNS records, double opt-in) with no inbox-placement testing or dedicated IP options. And the free tier's 100 unique recipients per month is small enough that "free email marketing" is really "free evaluation".

The ecosystem dependency cuts both ways too. Reach works standalone with an external domain, but the one-click DNS setup, instant contact sync and the overall friction-free onboarding are Hostinger perks. If your stack lives elsewhere, you are buying a basic ESP with unusually nice AI drafting and skipping its best feature.

Verdict

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by the rubric: core functionality is complete for small-scale sending but shallow on analytics and automation depth; value is the standout — a full year free at Starter and paid tiers that undercut most competitors at equivalent list sizes, provided you budget for renewal prices rather than the promotional sticker; usability is genuinely good, and the generate-then-edit workflow is the fastest path from nothing to a compliant, branded campaign I have used at this price; support and ecosystem ride on Hostinger's established infrastructure, a public roadmap and 24/7 chat, but the product itself is barely a year old; reliability signals are solid on the sending side (automatic DNS authentication, double opt-in, compliance defaults) and unproven at scale. For a creator or small business already inside the Hostinger world, this is an easy recommendation and arguably the best value in beginner email marketing right now. For a serious ecommerce operator or anyone whose program depends on segmentation, testing and attribution, Reach is a second tool at best — today. Watch the roadmap; this product is improving quickly.

Sources

Pros

  • One-prompt campaign generation that produces a complete branded draft — copy, layout and styling — in a single AI credit, then lets you edit every element directly instead of re-prompting
  • Aggressive value at time of writing: Starter is free for a full year (100 recipients, 200 emails/mo), and Grow costs $1.74/mo on the current promotion versus roughly $5-15/mo for comparable beginner ESP tiers
  • Hostinger-hosted domains authenticate in one click with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set automatically — the step that normally derails first-time senders
  • Practical contact plumbing: WordPress plugin collecting from WPForms Lite, Contact Form 7 and Elementor, an open API, CSV import and one-click sync from Hostinger Website Builder
  • Thoughtful details I rarely see at this price: merge-field fallback text, settable preheaders, default no-reply sending without a paid mailbox, and compliance blocks (unsubscribe, business identity) injected automatically

Cons

  • Metering traps: 'recipients' counts distinct addresses emailed per calendar month, so two newsletters to 100 people burn the whole free plan's 200 emails — and AI credits are shared with Hostinger's other AI products
  • The free plan's recurring AI credit allowance is zero after the 20-credit welcome gift, so the AI headline feature is effectively pay-only beyond a taster
  • No A/B testing and shallow reporting — opens and clicks per campaign, with no revenue attribution, click maps or cohort comparison
  • Automation is linear sequences with delays only; no branching, conditional splits or goal tracking, and ecommerce flows cover WooCommerce/Hostinger stores but not Shopify or Magento
  • Promotional pricing resets to higher renewal rates ($1.49-$3.99/mo for the entry tiers at time of writing), and the product is barely a year old with thin independent testing at scale

Best For

Solo creators and small businesses already using Hostinger domains or website builder who want a low-cost, AI-assisted newsletter tool that is configured and sending within an afternoon.
